Hi,
I am trying to recover a a 60Gb folder that is sitting in a 1TB drive.
Is there a way to rescue a single folder rather than individual files?
I can't even mount the drive on my mac as the drive is badly damaged.
Currently rescuing the whole drive but the time remaining says 451 days remaining.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Nick

Re: Rescuing Particular Folder
Hi Nick,
If you could mount the drive, you could specify individual files to recover, but if it won't mount then the only option is to do the whole drive :/
You could try the "Reading backwards" option (https://www.hamishmb.com/html/Docs/ddre ... tml#idm328), if you specified a log file, and that might help.

Thanks Hamish

Re: Rescuing Particular Folder
NB: If you have partitions on that drive, you could go for only the partition you need, but I'm assuming you already did that, or have just the one partition anyway.
