Yes, on macOS I can't silence the warning about overwriting the recovery, but it will work just fine. You can always make a copy of the map file if you are concerned.

Hello Dave, Another user experienced this issue recently, and the issue was that there were spaces in the file path for the map and output files. Could you try saving the map and output file to a path where the folders and filenames have no spaces and let me know if that fixes it for you? I shall fi...

NB: If you have partitions on that drive, you could go for only the partition you need, but I'm assuming you already did that, or have just the one partition anyway.
